Morgan racing driver and restorer of historic cars- including Morgan
3 wheelers and Salmsons of the 1920’s Jim’s Father raced and trialled
a Salmson, Jim raced a Morgan with no small measure of success through
the 1960’s. This is a small sample of his mechanical spares left
in his estate- for further interest, especially in 4 cylinder TR

carbs. These are the ones from Jim’s race engine from 1964 - 1967.
The super sports Morgan was originally homologated with 42 rather
than the commoner 45 DCOE Webber. Need a check, but if you want
your Morgan to be “right” these have HERITAGE - having done the
Guards 1000 and Ilford 500 races at Brands. |
