The Browns Lane Collection.  The following lots are all from a single owner collection, gathered together over many years with passion and enthusiasm. The entire collection totals in excess of 1,500 items. They formed what may well have been the most notable private collection of Jaguar models and collectables in the UK. They shared their home, until recently, with an XK 120 and E-Type, oh, and a Mk IV Sprite!

The “Pedal” Cars
Lot 51 Jaguar - V12 - a green, injection moulded plastic pedal car, shaped after the XJ-6/12 series of motor cars. Presenting in fine condition.   £40 - 100
Lot 52 Jaguar XK8 - An injection moulded red pedal car of the “Modern E-Type”. Nicely detailed and clearly recogniseable as a “pastiche” of the full sized motor.   £60 - 120
Lot 53 “Triang” - A classic 1960’s E-Type pedal car. Some restoration present, and some required, but otherwise a superb example of this sought after pedal car, from one of Britain’s legendary makers. Fabulous.   £100 - 160
Lot 53a XK 120. A simple stunning pedal car. This is one of a limited run of 50 in green, a similar number were made on Old English White, all fibreglass monocoque with opening bonnet showing a dummy engine, opening boot, dummy hood, side and tail lights, pressed metal “dummy” wire wheels with solid rubber tyres. An authentic dash board with a metal wheel face the young driver. This one has the working lights and horn, powered by 4 D size batteries. It is upholdeterd in cream leather look vinyl. A fine, modern made replica, now over a decade old are extremely rare, especially in this “mint” un played with state.   £1,200 - 1,600

Lot 54 Barbie - A pink XJS drop-top, in fine condition and just ready for the Lady herself to take Ken for a spin. Comes with its correct original box. £40 - 80
Lot 55 Javan Smith - A superb, hand made model of the early 1950’s sports racing Jaguar. A Le Mans winner in its day, this represents a road going version, but it has such superb detail, including a removeable tonneau cover over the passenger seat and wire wheels, knock-off spinners, twin side exit exhaust pipes and, nice touch this, a BRDC sticker in the passenger aero-screen! Comes contained within its own presentation perspex case with wooden sides. Every discerning Jaguar collection should feature one of these. £600 - 800
