Walking
The South Pennines
The South
Pennines lies between the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District
National Park, and is, in many ways the forgotten hils of the
North. This is however, fine walking country, giving a mixture,
of moorland hills, canal and river walks, forestry, and pasture.
We
have attempted to break the walks into the areas listed to the
left. However, there are a few that don't really fit into any
of these headings. Thus, we have slotted them into the nearest
area.
If you have
a walk that you would like to submit, please do not hesitate to
contact us and we shall be more than pleased to add it t our site,
giving you full credit.
If you wish
to print any of the walks out, press the print page link. This
will bring the walk up in a new window without all the additional
graphics. Then just press your print button.
